      Fun-loving Salzburg, City of Masken-Balls,  ... our story begins . . . .

      Think January 27, 1756: Mozart, the Master, is born on the third Mozart's birth housestorey of this house. He is a wunderkind par excellence! The Italians are in control of the Austrian music scene. They connive and plot to oust him from lucrative commissions. Mozart doesn't bow to anyone. Classical music pours out of his soul while he succumbs to a feeling of 'abject rejection'. The Master at the ages of 7 , 25 and 34 years (below).

      Immortality of The Requiem On the left, the Master is shown conducting, two weeks before his sojourn to heaven. He wanted to attend a performance of his opera, 'The Magic Flute'. But, he was too ill to go. So his friends came over and he conducted, they say, 'very feebly'. He cried and repeatedly asked the question, 'why don't they recognize my talent'? On this day he wrote: 'I am at the end of my life, before I have rejoiced in my talent. My career began auspiciously, but one cannot alter one's destiny. Longevity is unfathomable. One must go forward with the set Will.'
